Asst. Residential Manager-ICF Program
Description

On a day-to-day basis, the assistant manager will be responsible for implementing the activities of the residence in conjunction with the team of DSP’s. The assistant manager will be directly responsible to and work closely with the residence manager.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a direct assistant to the residence manager.
  • Perform case management and coordination of services to residents as requested by the residence manager.
  • Provide resident orientation and participate actively in the development of service plans, goals and objectives with residents.
  • Assist in maintenance of resident records and fulfillment of case recording procedures.
  • Provide informal situational counseling to residents to facilitate the development of problem-solving, decision making and interpersonal coping skills of residents.
  • Facilitate communications between the team of and between residents and DSP’s.
  • Perform all duties assigned to counselors as needed.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings.
  • Provide transportation services to residents as needed.
  • Be available to provide assistance during emergencies…
  • Additional projects/assignments given by the house manager.
Qualifications

HS Diploma and a minimum of three years experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities required.

Valid NYS Drivers License Required
