Mental Health Program Coordinator

The Mental Health Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director and ensures the MH Program operates in accordance with agency policy, mission statement and quality program standards.


  • Responsible for the continuous day to day operation of the MH housing program, specifically the assigned caseload of residences (Community Residences, Apartment Treatment, and Supported Sites)
  • Maintains the program in accordance to OMH State and Federal regulations and standards;
  • Ensures the program runs effective and efficient and that all ADD’s policies and procedures are being followed
  • Functions as a QMHP;
  • Participates in OMH recertification process as directed;
  • Oversees the collection and maintenance of records on each program’s participants;
  • Assists in training and overall supervision of management and staff;
  • Actively participates in IRC and ISP meetings as needed;
  • Review all monthly billing in accordance with agency policy and procedure
  • Review and audit charts and resident records at all locations per department schedule
  • Complete treatment plans as needed
  • Reviews and SPOA meetings
  • Available on-call as directed;
  • Other projects or assignments as needed at the request of the Program Director.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Services; or Associates Degree with a minimum of two years’ experience working in a Mental Health residential program or High School Diploma with a minimum of five years’ experience.
    • Valid New York State Driver’s License.
