IRA Program Coordinator
Description

The Program Coordinator ensures the Assigned IRA Programs operate in accordance with agency policy, mission statement and quality program standards.

$60-65,000 per year

 

 

Responsibilities
  • Under the immediate supervision of the Program Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the continuous and efficient day to day operation of the IRA Program;
  • Maintains the program in accordance to OPWDD State and Federal regulations and standards (i.e. compliance audits, billing verification, etc.);
  • Actively participates in the creation and modification of RISE policies and procedures (in lieu of or at discretion of program director) to best meet the needs of individuals supported;
  • Functions as a QIDP;
  • Participates in OPWDD DQI recertification process as needed;
  • Oversees the collection and maintenance of records on each program’s participant;
  • Assists in training and overall supervision of new management and assists with training and supervision of staff in the absence of the site manager.
  • Maintains steady and effective communication with Program Directors, residents, staff, advocates, and day program providers;
  • Conducts Program quality audits as scheduled;
  • Actively participates in ITT’s, IRC, HRC, and Life Plan meetings as needed;
  • Must be available On Call as directed for assigned sites;
  • Creates and initiates tools and supports necessary for program efficacy;
  • Conduct employment interviews to fill job openings for assigned sites;
  • Other projects or assignments as needed at the request of the Program Director; Completes any necessary duties of the Program Director when the director is not available.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to create, maintain, and navigate computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Services with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an IDD residential program in a supervisor/management position OR Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Services and 7 years’ experience working in an IDD residential program in a supervisor/management position

Valid New York State Driver’s License Required
