Encouraging corporate social responsibility on Long Island.

Give the world the best you have.

That was the message Wednesday morning from Theresa Regnante, the president and CEO of United Way of Long Island, who was the keynote speaker at Long Island Business News’ Corporate Citizenship award program at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

The event recognized Long Island leaders in the business community who focus on corporate social responsibility, contributing to the economic and social well-being of employees, businesses and the community.

Leadership excellence in the nonprofit category went to Charles Evdos of Aid to the Developmentally Disabled.
