Remember that snow storm that hit the East End of Long Island last Thursday, 2/18? Well, RISE held their second COVID-19 vaccine clinic that day at the Northville Sensory Gardens…outdoors! Staff worked tirelessly for over 5 hours in snow gear and protective equipment.
Almost 200 people received the vaccine – some for their second round and others their first. Among those receiving were staff and individuals from our programs (residential and day program). SPECIAL THANKS to our amazing team (nursing, staff and pharmacy assistants), who pulled together and made this happen!
