Technology Donation to Rise Life Services

In today’s digital age, access to technology is essential for individuals and organizations alike. From education to communication, modern information technologies play a crucial role in fostering effective and collaborative learning, as well as promoting knowledge exchange

That’s why the recent donation of 25 laptop computers by The United Way to Rise Life Services is such a significant and commendable effort.  The United Way, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives and communities, has always recognized the importance of technology in empowering individuals with greater opportunities.

Led by Teresa Regante, the United Way went above and beyond to support RISE Life Services and its participants in their quest for personal and professional growth. RISE Life Services is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1980 as Aid To The Developmentally Disabled (ADD) by family members who were concerned about the physical and emotional decline of patients compelled to live in crowded institutions.

The collaboration between The United Way and Rise Life Services is a shining example of the positive impact that can be achieved when organizations join forces. In this particular collaboration, The United Way identified the need for technology resources at Rise Life Services and took proactive steps to address this need. Through their donation of 25 laptop computers, The United Way has provided Rise Life Services participants with a valuable tool for lifelong learning and development.
